Radiator emblems, 1910-40

By scavenging junkyards and trading with other collectors, Hubert G. Larson collected 278 radiator emblems from classic automobiles. When he donated his collection to the Smithsonian in 1964, Larson wrote: "I have shown about 100 of these at various hobby shows and have found that people seem very interested in recalling cars of earlier days."
