 | Relics of Susan B. Anthony, Arts and Industries Building, 1920s
Donated by the National American Woman Suffrage Association to celebrate the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment in 1919, these mementos of Anthony and fellow suffragist leader Elizabeth Cady Stanton were given prominent display in the 1920s. This exhibit marked the first time that women had been honored in the National Museum for their political achievements.
